The location at over 1,000 meters above sea level usually brings snowy winter days, ideal conditions for downhill runs on the surrounding slopes. This makes winter holidays even more fun! On the toboggan run just a few steps from the hotel, young and old winter fans can ride down the 1.2 km long toboggan run down to Lake Titisee and then be comfortably chauffeured back up with the toboggan bus.
Skiing.
Several ski areas – including the Feldberg – attract skiers and snowboarders in the cold months to the beautiful Upper Black Forest, where there is a wide range of offers for ambitious skiers at beginner and advanced level with a total of 60 lifts. Due to the numerous ski and snowboard schools, absolute beginners also get their money’s worth.
Tobogganing.
Tobogganing is child’s play – and therefore suitable for all ages. From children’s toboggan slopes to spectacular toboggan runs, the Hochschwarzwald toboggan region can offer the full range – the next toboggan run even starts just a few hundred meters from the hotel.
Snowshoe hiking.
Immerse yourself in the wonderful white of the Black Forest nature and enjoy a winter hike: with snowshoes. A breathtaking view of the glittering forest panorama, the idyllic ice-frozen lakes and the snow-covered trees awaits you on more than ten signposted snowshoe trails. And if you don’t have the right equipment with you, you’ll find it at numerous rental stations.
