General Information

Arrival and Departure

Your rooms will be available from 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival, and you can use the wellness area free of charge starting at 10:00 AM.
If you arrive before 3:00 PM, you will receive a bath bag containing sauna towels, a bathrobe, and slippers at check-in. Otherwise, you will find these items in your room.

On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your rooms by 11:00 a.m. If you would like to spend some time at the hotel after check-out, you are welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room. You are welcome to use the wellness area until 6:00 p.m. The bath bag is available for your use until your departure and can be returned to the front desk afterward. 

Upon request and subject to availability, we also offer a late check-out until 2:00 p.m. for an additional fee.

To avoid waiting times at checkout, we offer the option of paying your bill the day before.

For a free shuttle to and from the Titisee-Neustadt train station, please check in at the front desk in advance.

Our hotel is largely accessible. The Panorama Restaurant is accessed via a 5-step staircase; our staff will be happy to assist you. 

We recommend that you check the current conditions before your arrival. We’d be happy to help make your stay with us as pleasant as possible so that you can enjoy it to the fullest.

Safety notice for your room:
To prevent fire hazards, please do not leave cell phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, batteries/rechargeable batteries for e-bikes, etc., unattended in your room or plug them into any electrical outlets in the building to charge.

All of our rooms are non-smoking, and open flames, such as candles or tea lights, are not permitted in the guest rooms.

In case of fire: Close doors and windows, follow the evacuation plan, exit the building via the stairs, and follow the instructions of the hotel staff.

To help you make the most of every moment of your vacation, we recommend that you take advantage of our convenient pre-check-in service now. You will automatically receive an email with a direct link to your booking details up to three days before your arrival.

Upon request and subject to availability, we offer a late check-out until 2:00 p.m. for an additional fee.

To avoid waiting times at checkout, we offer the option of paying your bill the day before.

In the hotel lobby, you'll find a games corner with a variety of board games and a chess set. The games are, of course, available to you free of charge.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and throughout the hotel.

The municipality of Schluchsee currently charges a visitor's tax of €3.00 per person aged 16 and older, and €1.60 for children aged 6 to 15.

Your mail will be held at the front desk. Stamps are available at the front desk. You can drop off your mail during our front desk hours, between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

You are welcome to pick up a current statement of your bill at the front desk at any time. Please settle your bill on the day of departure. To avoid any potential wait times, you may pay your bill at the front desk the evening before.
You can pay your hotel bill in cash, by credit card (VISA, MasterCard), or with a debit card.

We accept cash as well as payments by debit card, MasterCard, and Visa.

Each room is equipped with its own in-room safe. In addition, we offer you the option of storing your valuables at our front desk.

The latest newspapers and magazines are available for you in the Panorama Restaurant. In the hotel lobby, you will also find brochures about our hotel as well as travel guides featuring attractions in the region.

Our library offers a wide variety of novels and books that you can borrow for free. If you haven’t finished reading a book during your stay, you are, of course, welcome to take it home with you.

Do you need anything else for our youngest guests? Upon request, we can provide a crib, a bottle warmer, and a diaper pail.

For dinner, we recommend smart-casual attire. We ask that you refrain from wearing athletic wear, flip-flops, and hats during the evening hours to help maintain the stylish and pleasant atmosphere in our restaurants.

Please note that only rooms specifically designated for guests with dogs are available. If you are traveling with a dog, please keep the following points in mind:

  • We can only take in animals that are house-trained and well-socialized.
  • Liability insurance is mandatory for dog owners.
  • Only one dog weighing up to 25 kg is allowed per room.
  • The cost is €25.00 per night, excluding food.
  • Upon arrival, you will receive our dog surprise package and a towel for cleaning your dog’s paws.
  • Your dog is welcome to accompany you in the following indoor areas: fireplace lounge, reception area, billiards, darts, foosball
  • Dogs are not permitted in the following indoor areas: the Panorama Restaurant, the Schwarzwald-Stube, the library, the fitness center, and the entire wellness area, including the pool facilities.

All rooms are equipped with a minibar. The initial stock of beverages is included in all room categories.

Is the mattress too firm? We can provide you with a mattress topper upon request. Please contact the front desk using the direct dial number -0.

All of our rooms are non-smoking. However, if you wish to smoke on the balcony, an ashtray is provided there. If this rule is violated, we reserve the right to charge a fee for the necessary special cleaning.

Come relax by the cozy open fire at our fireplace bar.
In a welcoming atmosphere, we serve freshly prepared drinks from 7:00 AM to midnight, coffee and cake until 5:00 PM, and cocktails in the evening.

You'll find the wine bar in our Schwarzwald-Stube. There you'll find a wide selection of fine wines and regional liqueurs. The wine bar is open upon request.

Breakfast is served in the Panorama Restaurant.

You can enjoy our gourmet breakfast daily from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Families, groups of 5 or more, or guests with disabilities can reserve a table at the front desk by dialing extension -0.

If you would like to add our half-board option during your stay, please let the front desk know. The cost is €59.00 per adult per day.

The following rates apply to children, regardless of when the booking is made:

  • 0–2 years: €10.00
  • Ages 3–5: €15.00
  • Ages 6–15: €15.00

If you would like to upgrade to our Half-Board Plus package while you are here, please let the front desk know. The cost is €83.00 per adult per day. The upgrade from Half-Board to Half-Board Plus costs €24 per person.

The following rates apply to children, regardless of when the booking is made:

  • Ages 3–5: €30.00
  • Ages 6–15: €45.00

Every morning, we welcome you to our panoramic restaurant for a hearty and varied gourmet breakfast. You can also enjoy dinner in the form of a daily changing 5-course menu with vegetarian and vegan options.

Breakfast:
7:30–10:30 a.m.

Dinner:
6:00–10:00 p.m.
Orders for the 5-course menu must be placed by 8:30 p.m.; à la carte orders must be placed by 9:00 p.m.

We welcome you daily to the Schwarzwald-Stube for a delightful midday snack. We also offer aromatic coffee creations and a variety of delicious cakes.

Lunch break:
12:30–2:30 p.m.

Coffee & Cake:
12:30–4:00 p.m.

The Schwarzwald-Stube also houses our wine bar, where we’re happy to serve you daily from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Our saunas are nude-only. The exception is the outdoor log sauna.
When visiting the wellness area and pool facilities, please use the bathrobes and slippers provided (or bring your own).

You'll find our sunbathing areas right next to our infinity pool and indoor pool. 

Umbrellas are available for the sunbathing areas.

Pool Landscapes

Our indoor pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Children under the age of twelve may only use the pool area when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Our infinity pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Access to the infinity pool is permitted for guests 16 years of age and older.

You have the option to reserve our indoor pool for private use. The private pool is available to you between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM upon registration.

We offer pool service between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please place your orders through our front desk by dialing extension -0.

You'll find relaxation areas next to our infinity pool, our indoor pool, and in our sauna area.

Access to our relaxation rooms is permitted for guests aged 16 and older.

Our facility features a sanarium (60°C), a Finnish sauna (90°C), a panoramic sauna (80°C), and an outdoor log sauna (75°C / clothing-allowed sauna). In addition, you will find a steam room in the sauna area. Various relaxation rooms and lounging areas are also available in our sauna area. The outdoor area is connected to a sunbathing lawn.

The sauna area is open year-round from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Upon request, we can turn on the saunas for you at an earlier time. Please contact our front desk for this service.

The sauna area is available to you throughout your stay at no extra charge. We thank you for your understanding that children and young people under the age of 16 are not permitted in the sauna area.

The saunas in our facility are for nude use; however, you may wear clothing in the outdoor log sauna.

You’ll find the Vital Bistro between our indoor pool and the sauna area. We welcome you there with a wide selection of teas and fresh fruit. The Vital Bistro is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Our Forest Spa is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Treatments are by appointment only.
To ensure you can secure your preferred appointment, we recommend booking your treatment in advance online through our web shop or contacting our front desk.

Pool

You’ll find a professional pool table across from the fitness center in the main building. Pool equipment is available free of charge.
The pool room is open from 7:00 AM to midnight.

There are two hard dartboards located across from the fitness center in the main building. You can borrow darts free of charge at the front desk.
The dart room is open from 7:00 AM to midnight.

We rent out e-bikes for your trip to the surrounding area. You can reserve and pick up the bikes directly at our front desk. Please note the pickup and return times. Bikes must be returned by 8:00 PM at the latest. If you wish to return the bikes later, please notify the front desk at +49 (0) 7653 6850.

  • 4 hours: €22.00
  • 1 day: €35.00

The fitness center is located in the main building.
We offer a selection of professional-grade equipment, including a rowing machine, a treadmill, and an indoor cycle. Use of the equipment is free of charge. The fitness center is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM for guests aged 14 and older.

Parents are responsible for their children.

You'll find a professional foosball table across from the fitness center in the main building. The foosball room is open from 7:00 AM to midnight.

Starting in September, our indoor tennis court at the Waldhaus will be available for your use.

Court rental fee: €30.00 per hour; rackets and balls are available at the front desk for a deposit.

The Saigerhöh is the ideal starting point for long hikes in the Upper Black Forest. At the front desk, you’ll find a selection of helpful travel guides featuring various hiking routes. Our hotel staff is happy to assist you with personalized hiking recommendations or help you plan the perfect outing.

Our shuttle service is available for your return trip; you can arrange it through our front desk.

Our concierge is available at the front desk and will be happy to assist you with restaurant reservations, recommendations for excursions, or transportation arrangements. Please contact the front desk or dial extension -0.

The front desk staff will be happy to assist you with printing, copying, and scanning.

Of course, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room at the front desk after check-out.

We are currently setting up beehives on our property so that we can serve our own honey in the future.

Did you forget your comb, toothbrush, razor, or other toiletries? In the main building near the Panorama Restaurant, our vending machines offer a selection of toiletries, as well as a variety of drinks, snacks, and cigarettes. Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and hand soap are already provided in your room.

You can pick up a sewing kit at the front desk. We’ll take care of minor repairs right away, and we’re happy to refer you to professionals for more extensive repairs.

In the main building, near the Panorama Restaurant, our vending machines offer a selection of hygiene products, as well as a variety of beverages, snacks, and cigarettes.

You will find a laundry bag in your closet. Please fill out the enclosed form carefully and hand it in at the front desk along with your laundry. You will usually receive your laundry back the next day. Same-day express cleaning is also available upon prior arrangement.

Electric vehicle charging stations

A total of 6 electric charging stations are available for charging your electric vehicle in compliance with calibration regulations. Payment is made directly at the charging station via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay (Ad Hoc), RFID card (operator/roaming), or app.

Once charging is complete, please move your vehicle to a regular parking space so that the charging stations are available for other guests.

With the Black Forest KONUS Guest Card, which we will provide upon request at check-in, you can use public transportation (buses as well as DB and SGB trains in 2nd class, excluding ICE, IC, and EC trains) throughout the entire KONUS region free of charge.

The KONUS guest card also serves as a ticket. For more information, please ask at the front desk.

Outdoor parking spaces are available on the property free of charge.
