We are currently seeking a full-time assistant hotel manager.

Your responsibilities

In this key role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for senior management and actively support them in administrative, organizational, and strategic matters:

  • Providing operational support to senior management and working closely with all departments
  • Management and Optimization of Day-to-Day Business Processes
  • Creating and analyzing key performance indicators, reports, and presentations relevant to the business; you enjoy working with numbers and data, want to identify patterns, and derive actionable insights from them
  • Responsibility for professional internal and external correspondence as well as scheduling
  • Liaison between management, the team, and external partners
  • Planning and overseeing projects aimed at further developing our range of services
  • Personalized support and coordination in event and conference management
  • Quality and process management to ensure our high standards of performance
  • Acting on behalf of the director in his or her absence

Our requirements

We are looking for someone who has prior experience in a similar role, is comfortable working with numbers and has strong analytical skills, and thrives in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment:

  • Completed training in the hospitality industry, in a business-related field, or in a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience as an executive assistant or in a comparable management support role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as in hotel and business-related key performance indicators
  • An affinity for digital media and a keen sense of digital trends
  • Excellent communication skills in German; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently
  • Discretion, loyalty, and a passion for working in a dedicated and highly motivated team

We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time receptionist. 

Your responsibilities

You are the first point of contact and the face of our company.

  • Warm welcome and farewell to our guests
  • Check-in and check-out, including invoicing and cash management
  • Acceptance and processing of reservations
  • Professional guest correspondence (by phone and in writing)
  • Expert advice on hotel offers, wellness services, excursion options, and conference packages with the help of our PMS tools and IBE
  • Close cooperation with the company's departments
  • Confidently handling guest requests, always attentive, calm, and service-oriented

Our requirements

  • Completed training in the hotel industry or experience in front office
  • Very good knowledge of German, fluent in at least one foreign language

You will serve as the point of contact for our guests and prospective travelers, and as the face of our establishment.

Training at the Saigerhöh

At Saigerhöh, we believe that training is not only the beginning of your professional journey, but also one of its most important stages. We value and support our trainees as the future talents of our industry.

We currently welcome around 25 trainees and students to our company.

Training with us at Hotel Saigerhöh is not only an opportunity, but also a unique experience. You will discover that the hotel industry is one of the most diverse sectors there is – and during your training, you will not only learn technical skills, but also develop important social skills. Your training is the foundation for a successful career, and we are here to support you on this journey.

Training as a hotel specialist (m/f/d)
  • Welcoming, advising, and assisting guests at the reception desk
  • Conducting sales talks and preparing quotations
  • Insights into all classic hotel areas, such as:
    • Preparation and cleaning of hotel rooms and public areas
    • Preparation and serving of food and beverages

Vocational school: approx. 13 weeks per year in block teaching
